FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is functional medicine?

Functional medicine asks why. Why are you bloated, exhausted, breaking out, or gaining weight when nothing about your routine has changed? Instead of covering up the symptom, we find what's causing it and work on that.

How is functional medicine different from conventional medicine?

Conventional medicine is great at emergencies and diagnosing disease, but it isn't built to explain why you feel off when your labs come back "normal." Functional medicine reads your labs against optimal ranges, looks at how your systems affect each other, and builds a plan around your body instead of the average one.

What types of lab tests do you run?

My standard lab package includes the GI-MAP (gut health, pathogens, microbiome balance, inflammation, and gut barrier markers), DUTCH Complete (sex hormones and your cortisol pattern across the full day instead of one blood draw), HTMA (mineral levels, stress patterns, and toxic metal exposure), and comprehensive functional bloodwork (full thyroid panel, full iron panel, blood sugar markers, inflammatory markers, vitamin and mineral status, and more). Depending on your symptoms and history, I may recommend other labs instead of or in addition to these.

Who is this for?

This is for you if:

  • You've done everything right and gotten nowhere.
  • Your labs came back normal and you knew they were wrong.
  • You're willing to look at what your panels actually say.
  • You want to be done with this, not managing it forever.
Who is this NOT for?

I'm here to support women who are ready to transform their health, and that means this program isn't the right fit for everyone. It's probably not for you if:

  • You're looking for a quick fix. Healing is a two-way street. This is a fully opt-in model, and it works when you're willing to do the work, give it time, and trust the process.
  • You're not willing to make changes. I'll build your plan from your labs and tell you exactly what your body needs. If you don't want to follow it, there's only so much I can do to help.
  • You'd rather mask symptoms than find the root cause. Everything here is about correcting what's driving your symptoms, not covering them up.
  • You're not ready to make your health a priority right now. This takes time and intention. If you can't dive in right now, it's okay to wait until you can.
  • You're looking for a one-size-fits-all approach. No two bodies are the same. Some protocols will overlap, but every body needs its own set of eyes, and we all heal at different speeds. Your plan is built around your unique needs.
  • You're not ready to invest in yourself. This is for women who hold themselves to a high standard and expect the same from their health. If that's not where you are, there's nothing wrong with you, and that's your choice to make. This work takes time, energy, and resources, and it's only the right fit if you're ready to invest in your long-term health.
  • You've already picked your diagnosis and want it confirmed. I don't diagnose. I look at the whole picture to understand what's going on in your body.
  • You want to be managed indefinitely. The goal is for you to graduate with the knowledge, resources, and tools to sustain this on your own. If you want ongoing support after the program, there is a monthly option that gives you direct access to me as questions or new things come up. We always talk through what next steps look like as you finish.

If you're ready to take ownership of your health, make meaningful changes, and finally uncover the root cause, this program was built for you.

What are the ways to work with you?

My signature program, Her Full Glo Intensive, is the experience I find works best for most women. That said, I've built tailored programs before based on someone's unique needs or past testing they've already done. We'll talk through what makes the most sense for you on your free clarity call.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Ask about payment plans on your clarity call and we'll find an option that works for you.

Do you take insurance?

No. Functional lab testing isn't covered by insurance, and I don't bill insurance companies. Payment plans are available.

When will I see results?

Results can't be guaranteed, and every body moves at its own pace. Many women feel the first shifts from their foundational changes before their labs even come back. The deeper changes build over the four months as we work through your protocol together.

What symptoms or conditions do you typically work with?
  • Digestive issues (bloating, constipation, IBS, SIBO, food sensitivities)
  • Hormonal imbalances (PMS, perimenopause, menopause, PCOS)
  • HPA axis dysfunction (often called adrenal fatigue)
  • Thyroid imbalances
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Insulin resistance and blood sugar swings
  • Ferritin and iron imbalances
  • Fatigue and low energy
  • Brain fog, mood swings, and anxiety
  • Stubborn weight
  • Detoxification and environmental toxin exposure

Not sure if your symptoms fit? Book a free clarity call and we'll talk it through.

Will I need to take supplements?

Most likely, but not a cabinet full. Every supplement is chosen based on what your labs actually show, and food, sleep, stress, and movement come first. The goal is to use supplements to correct what's off, not to take them forever.

I'm nervous about making changes. Will this be overwhelming?

Nope. You start with three small foundations, not a total life overhaul, and we build from there at your pace. Do less, correctly.
